Extrusion Parts Manufacturing & CNC Machined Components

GQ Machining manufactures precision extrusion parts and custom CNC machined components from Hastelloy, Inconel, 316 stainless steel, and other high-performance metals. With 40 years of combined experience in polymer and food extrusion equipment, our team understands the tolerances, surface finishes, and material behavior that demanding extrusion applications require. Whether you need a single replacement die or an ongoing supply of custom screws, we manufacture to your specifications with the precision and material expertise that separates functional parts from failed ones.

We serve equipment manufacturers, OEM production teams, and procurement managers across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut who need a machining partner that actually understands what they’re building.

Parts & Components We Manufacture

Extruder Screws

From single-screw feed screws to complex twin screw elements, our extruder screw manufacturing capabilities cover the full range of extrusion screw types. We machine screws in Hastelloy C-276 for corrosive polymer applications, Inconel 625 for high-temperature compounding, and 316L stainless steel for food-grade processing lines. Twin screws, feeder screws, conical screws, and augers — all manufactured to your drawings with standard tolerances of ±0.0005” and tighter tolerances achievable with EDM processes.

Extrusion Dies

Our extrusion die machining capabilities handle Flex-Lip, Ribbon, Rod, Film, Sheet, and Tubing die configurations up to 12” across. Die manufacturing demands exceptional surface finish quality and precise profile geometry — two areas where our 40 years of extrusion equipment experience and 5-axis CNC capabilities produce consistent results. We machine dies in 316 stainless steel, Hastelloy, Inconel, and tool steel depending on your process requirements and the materials being run.

Custom Precision Components

Beyond standard extrusion and mixing parts, we manufacture a wide range of custom precision components including plates, housings, and couplings — along with nozzles, baseplates, drive couplings, and mounting plates. If your project requires tight tolerances in a difficult alloy or a part that doesn’t fit neatly into a standard category, we manufacture to your specifications. We work from customer-supplied engineering drawings and CAD files.

Mixer Blades & Impellers

Custom mixer blade manufacturing at GQ Machining covers Banbury blades, Sigma blades, Cam blades, and Roller blades, as well as custom impellers for industrial mixing equipment. Complex blade geometries with patented profiles require multi-axis machining capability and material expertise — particularly in Hastelloy and Inconel for aggressive chemical applications. Our 5-axis CNC milling produces the curves, compound angles, and mirror finishes these parts demand.

Materials Available Across All Part Types

Every part category we manufacture is available in the full range of Hastelloy, Inconel, and 316 stainless steel alloys we specialize in — along with tool steels, Monel, 4140HT, and other high-performance metals. Material selection matters as much as dimensional accuracy, and our 40 years of combined experience machining exotic alloys means we understand how Hastelloy C-276 behaves differently from C-22, and why specifying 316L versus standard 316 matters for food-contact applications.
We can machine the material your application requires, not just the materials a shop happens to stock.

Machining Capabilities for Complex Extrusion Parts

The parts manufactured for food extrusion equipment and polymer processing equipment are rarely simple. Complex screw profiles, compound die geometries, and close-tolerance impeller blades require machining capability that goes beyond standard 3-axis milling.
Our 5-axis CNC milling handles curves, compound angles, and intricate profiles in a single setup — reducing tolerance stack-up and improving surface finish consistency. High-speed spindles running at 12,000 RPM allow us to machine difficult alloys cleanly without the heat buildup that causes dimensional variation. For the tightest tolerance work, wire EDM achieves ±0.0001” on profiles that conventional milling cannot hold.

Key Capacity Specifications:

  • Milling envelope: up to 50” × 26” × 25”
  • Turning: up to 10.3” diameter × 24” length
  • Standard tolerances: ±0.0005”
  • EDM tolerances: ±0.0001”
  • Part weight capacity: up to 3,500 lbs

Serving NY/NJ/CT Equipment Manufacturers

GQ Machining operates from Youngsville, New York, giving manufacturers across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut access to a regional precision machining partner with real exotic metals depth. When you need replacement parts fast or a new component for a production launch, regional proximity means faster lead times than national competitors — and the ability to deliver personally for urgent situations.
We manufacture parts for food extrusion equipment manufacturers requiring FDA-compliant finishes, polymer processing equipment builders running high-temperature compounding lines, and everything in between.
